What Type 3 Triforce for netbooting?

What type of Triforce type 3 do I need to obtain to NetBoot Mario Karts and FZero?

I can see there is a NAND type and a GD Rom type?

I’m assuming the NAND type can’t be used and need to use the GD ROM type that has memory DIMMs?

Yes, you need the media board that's meant to connect to a GDROM (or CF). You also need the network daughter board that sits on top of the media board. I have never seen a Triforce Type 3 without one, but there is a Chihiro Type 3 model that doesn't have it.

I did find a few bits of info on here in a few posts, general idea seems to be to stay away from the Mario kart type 3 setups! Unfortunately that’s all I’ve been finding so far

You can netboot FZero and Mario Kart on a type 1 as well.
