What's your ideal "EXTRA SPACE" buttons setup?

I am restoring a few vewlix machines and started making new parts for the machine. While I feel like everyone has their own unique use and setup I wanted to poll and see the what everyone is using.

The machine I am restoring will used Mister & PC's inside of them. So I build NFC kits where the Nesica reader is usually installed.

These cabs are both 2 player systems so I started making a 2nd panel that has 4 buttons and 2 usb ports. I made it similar to the online ones but I used clear acrylic so you can put your own artwork inside.

A few friends requested 6 buttons and another asked if I can make a 2nd NFC panel next the nesica panel so they can keep both options. I am working on that this week.

Next week I will start to make a full rack mount system for the bottom to have easy access to IO and also give space to install a PS5 if needed. After that I plan to build a real panel that has a host of in and out puts ( HDMI, ethernet, USB, power)

I also plan to replace build panels that install in the coin and ashtray area. Another use for NFC instead of coin but also I want to install a touch pad or trackball there for the computer.

If anyone else has an fun ideas I would love to hear them. I have 3d printers and laser cutters in the shop so it's easy for me to make variations.
 
It would be cool to see you use the Seimitsu SELS-70 for the levers and try out the Seimitsu Alutimo buttons :D

Lol, this entered my list yesterday chatting with a friend. Cleanable cupholders while a phone slot.

I am finishing the touchpad version tonight and then working on the ashtray / coin area modular system next
 
I am still finding that everyone has wildly different desired for their control panel so I started to make a modular system that allows me to put any of the options anywhere.

I have made both Laser Cut files that are similar to Fight Stick designs that allow you to put in your own artwork and more modular 3d printed designs that allow more attachments. At the moment I have just designed items for the Standard Vewlix Extra Space and Nesica tap space. This week I will map out the top left and right spaces for the coin area and the other general planel. I think its a great place for a touch pad and I would like to have a more secure cup holder.

After this I will work on a modular rackmount chassis for in the machine.

If anyone wants and designs let me know, I do run a etsy shop that does these things. I am happy to customize your ideas into a build for you.
