I have bought a bunch of stuff from people here, but it's time to introduce myself.
I am a retro hardware collector in Brooklyn (moved from Philly relatively recently). It's easier to list the systems I don't have than the ones I do, and I have flashcarts/ODEs for nearly all of them. I like the idea that my collection can be something of a museum where friends can come over and try any game they can think of. I have a PVM 2030 and an LG OLED TV with a Retrotink. I typically use the OLED for 480p and above systems and the PVM for 15kHz stuff.
I love bullet hell despite being absolute garbage at them. I have a nearly complete set of Cave console ports (just missing DonPachi on Sat/PS1, Dodonpachi PS1, and Ketsui DS). I also really love 2D fighting games and late sprite-based stuff. I also play a good amount of modern stuff.
Arcade hardware is a relatively new obsession for me. I got a Naomi 2 netbooting setup with an HDMI mod (shout out to IFixRetro who does all my solder work) a couple years ago and followed it up with an HDMI modded OMVS w/Backbit Platinum for Neo Geo, and an IGS PGM with the Cave carts. My most recent acquisition is an HDMI-modded CPS3 w/UltraSIMMs that I've been using to play Third Strike with friends. I have CPS1 and CPS2 that I need to get recapped/HDMI modded/multi-installed.
Dream acquisitions for the future are a CV1K multi, Exa-Arcadia, and a burnless trisync candy cab or PVM 20L5, but all of that is too expensive for the near term.
If you're in Brooklyn and have similar interests HMU.
*I don't have 3do, CDi, PC-FX, Jaguar, 5200, 2600, LaserActive, Pippin, or any pre-Windows computer system (PC-88/98, Sharp 68000, Colecovision, Amiga).
