Windjammers MVS - sound issue

Hi, i have a Windjammers with a sound glitch . I tried to emulate the glitch with an emulator and i'm pretty sure the issue is in V4 ROM (HN62408P). I checked all the solders and everything seems fine, so i suspect the ROM is corrupted.

Does anyone knows which EEPROM should i use to replace the original?

The rom has 1 Megabyte = 8megabit, so you need a 27c800.

I would reflow V4. I fixed the same problem that way on my Puzzle de Pon R cart.

Could also be the PCM demultiplexing chip. Hopefully it's the V4 rom.

i already tried the reflow - i started with simple steps (deep clean, reflow) and did not work. I was able to replicate the glitch by corrupting the V4 file on an emulator. I'll try to replace the V4 rom and let's hope it works. If not, i'll try to check the PCM.

Easy to fix, if you can write a 27c800 you can also dump your v4 and check the integrity.

Quick update on this - i burned a 27c800 to replace V4 and it works. Problem solved. Thanks all.
