I got three machines in a group buy this past January. One was just wipe down and go. Two got full restores. Q25 HAD to be sandblasted and repainted. The metals were all rusted and the wood was moldy. The egret 2 really only needed to be painted but if the way the cab looks is no big deal it would have worked 100% with just a wipe down and new buttons, joysticks.
So as you can see the degrees vary greatly. I say always assume you have a project on your hands when dealing with candies.
