I just recently picked up a tekken 3 pcb and wondering if this monitor would be compatible with that board? Outside of screen burn, I have no idea what else I'm really looking for in terms of monitors. This guy has a bunch of monitors but they seem to be pulled from pre-jamma games like donkey kong and so on. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

For your first monitor, I would recommend something a little easier to work with and less prone to issues. Are you planning to use this in your home with a Supergun?

Might I suggest a commercial TV instead of an Arcade monitor? Depending on what the Supergun you're using outputs, you should be able to find a decent component set through your local version of Gumtree?

My original plan was to avoid a supergun since the HAS isn't really available and I couldn't find the mini cables for the minigun but maybe I didn't look hard enough. My commercial CRT TV only has the yellow component cable so again not sure how to connect this stuff. I'd like to try and create a lag-free solution that doesn't have black bars like you get on TV's that aren't 4:3

I've been thinking that arcooda 4:3 monitor with this adapter might just be the easiest solution

You shouldn't have issues getting a Supergun these days. Try hunt down a HAS or Minigun on eBay or hit up www.axunworks.com -- The supergun will not add any "lag".

You might need to use some adapters/converters to get a composite signal to your current TV, but you should try hunt down a SCART or Component TV set or a PVM which opens a lot more options for you.
