UPDATE #5: Well, moved to Franklin County, VA. Still available if any interest. Pick up only.
UPDATE #4: Fixed the joysticks - just needed cleaning with some ISO. Final price drop: $350 OBO.
UPDATE #3: Still powers on and starts up, controls are still wonky. Lowering the price to $400 OBO. Moving out of the area in March.
UPDATE #2: Well, partially working. Controls are wonky. Going to do a thorough cleaning of all of the joysticks and circuit cards/connectors and see what I can do. More to follow, but $500 OBO is still a good price for this great machine.
UPDATE: Well, once I got it moved someplace I could mess with it, re-seating the cables on the back cabinet door did the trick to get it working again. I suspect the pins might have some corrosion. More pictures posted.
I'm moving and need to sell my beloved Joust upright. I bought this from Coin-Op Warehouse in Hagerstown, MD sometime around 2000. It worked well for many years, I just don't have the time or expertise to troubleshoot the issue, unfortunately. It turns on but doesn't display. It's in a spot that's difficult to get pictures of the back and sides, but as near as I can tell the side-art is original with some scratches. There is some water damage around the very bottom of the cabinet, but not high enough to have damaged anything electronic. Original working monitor with some typical burn-in, original coin door, original back glass. There is a reflection of a wire in one of the pictures that makes the back glass look like it has a crack in it, but it doesn't. Pick-up only in Northern Virginia. $500 OBO.
I'll need to move it out of where it is so will post more pictures soon.
Fixed/upgraded the following in 2006 from Arcadeshop:
Control Panel Molding
Control Panel Overlay
Kick Plate Molding (never installed but new)
T-molding
New 4116 RAM chips
Williams Solid State Power supply
WIlliams Joystick Rebuild kit
