WTB WTB: Bipolar PROM Programmer (Data I/O, Stag, Needham, Hi-Lo, etc.)

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to buy a bipolar PROM programmer in good working condition for restoring and preserving vintage arcade PCBs.

I'm mainly interested in programmers that support devices such as 82S123, 82S129, 74S287, TBP18S030, and similar bipolar PROMs.

Examples include (but are not limited to):

• Data I/O
• Stag
• Needham's
• Hi-Lo
• BP Microsystems
• Advin
• Other vintage programmers with bipolar PROM support

I'm not a reseller—this will be used for repairing original arcade boards, so I'd much rather see an old programmer put back to work than sitting on a shelf.

If you don't have any luck finding a vintage one newer Elnec / Dataman (Beeprog / Dataman 4 range of programmers have good prom support considering how modern they are and they do come up for reasonable prices on ebay every so often.

Also look into vintage Labtool products (Dataman equivalents with free software that's still being updated) or eTools (TopMax).
