Hello, I recently purchased an original Capcom Mini Cute but I need specific parts/art that are either sourced/spares or repro/alternatives that fit within the specs of an original unit. Pics of what I need and what is missing from my cab for reference. I am based in Los Angeles, CA.

*Update!
Monitor Bezel cover and Rubber foot pad found!!!
Will eventually get repro control panel and arcade marquee holder.
coin return rod and the top ring hooks will get from aliexpress at some point.

-All 6 Bottom Wheels (LAST PARTS I NEED)

If anyone has a source on finding replacements, especially for the back wheels that apparently use a custom sizing plate and the right screws for the wheels, that would be helpful!!

Hello fellow SoCal Mini Cute owner!

I recently found a few of the parts you're looking for, mainly the 2P panel artwork and the marquee holder. I ordered them from this site:
https://arcadeartrepro.com/shop/

It took a while to show up (3-4 weeks at least) but the quality of the prints were really good and the marquee looks exactly like an original! I've attached a picture of my current Mini Cute with the marquee holder for reference.

You may need to do a 3d print for the coin return metal rod as I'm not sure anyone makes repros of that specific part.
The monitor shroud I have seen repros before pop up on aliexpress in the past, but I can't speak to the quality of those. Hoping someone else has insight to that part as I would like to have spares in case something ends up happening.

Hope you enjoy! It's a great little machine.

I've updated my original comment but unfortunately Aliexpress is a no go except for a couple of parts but they are repro so I can only hope it fits and functions correctly. But thank you for the link on the marquee and art, that will help immensely! Also hell yeah a fellow native that also owns a CMC! Which color do you have and did you have yours for a while or was it a recent purchase? I got mine from KC recently lmao, as you can imagine why i'm searching for these parts, I did not know so many were missing lol especially after playing the ones they had at EVO.

Ah I just realized it doesn't show in my picture, but its also a pink one! I recently picked mine up as well, I got mine out in San Diego, he's relatively unknown in the SoCal scene compared to KC but he imports a lot of machines from Mexico.

Ya I know KC has a reputation around this forum, he was a nice guy when I met him though. (Got the stools from him) I think I know exactly which Mini Cutes you are talking about as I saw a few of them the last time I visited him, hope you enjoy! The one thing with KC is that if you do buy from him, there will always be some work needed on it, or so I've heard. But I found that true with my machine as well. How are the wheels are on your cabs? I actually ended up having to install new wheels and new rubber feet on mine so it wasn't sliding around my apartment.

I also ended up replacing the whole control panel, Alberto makes great repros! Believe you can find his stuff here on the forum, I can vouch for the quality of those as well.

Hey, EVO was also where I first saw one of these machines! What year did you go? I had a lot of fun back when I went but I didn't go this year due to the huge price increase, that place was like fighting game heaven last time I went though. So many great games, I finally found people to play Melty Blood with and they even had that SNES Sailor Moon fighting game in a cab.

Nice, I've heard of sellers/restorers in Mexico that have a good inventory, especially for Capcom cabs. That's awesome there is a connect in SD, funnily enough iim going there soon for SDCC haha. Does the seller have a page or on social media marketplaces?

KC is my go-to guy and I get along well with him even if he can be firm on questionable prices for certain cabs, others he is fair and I dont haggle or waste his time unless i'm getting something for sure. My first cab was an Tecmo Astro City that was in great condition for a great price, and only needed necessary upgrades like a grounded power cable and the usual lever/button replacements, and since i'm local I can see what to expect in person...BUT I jumped on the CMC without much reference checking, since the pics looked very promising and going in person was also promising. Between choosing an Egret II and the CMC I went with the latter since it had the control panel and original JLW levers and the Egret had a Mahjong panel.

However, after going to EVO 2026 I saw immediately how many parts were missing. I played on them before that at EVO 2019 or 2024 i believe? But this year I was tilted seeing what I needed after having my own. I also had a good friend help reflow the chassis and adjust the pots, the voltage and v.hold and h.hold cause after plugging some boards in, it was off and not centering. Luckily he got it in working order orientated and not having too much voltage or brightness.

My panel just has the art removed, so I just need the art itself not a whole panel fortunately lol.

Nah he doesn't have much of a social media presence, hadn't heard of him before, but I actually bought the cab on ebay. Here is his ebay, his name is Jorge, he listed the Mini Cute on his ebay which was how I ended up meeting him.

Ah for sure, I think I remember seeing that Tecmo Astro on his insta at some point. Ya thats the thing with this hobby though, I got lucky the bad parts for me was the wheels and I didn't have to replace anything too major, as parts for the Mini Cute seem to be hard to come by. I know there are people in this forum that have made entire repro cabs in the past though so heres to hoping someone produces more of the harder to replace parts like the glass or the monitor shroud!

Thats cool, how was EVO this year? I heard the arcade was done by game saru, they seem to have all kinds of good stuff. Heard there was a shmup selection this year too. Ya I feel you on seeing everything missing after seeing what a complete Mini Cute looks like, but arcade cabs are definitely projects! Its a great way to learn and build up knowledge when you need to fix an issue, I personally wouldn't have it any other way!

Wooo thanks i'll check his page out!

I forgot to mention since you asked, but yeah my Mini Cute has no wheels at all so I guess I have to update this post lmao, it would definitely help especially when I open the cab, i dont like it scraping against the tile floors 😭 but its crazy you mention what the bad parts can be, because compared to my Mini Cute's, another buyer purchased one of the previously posted Mini Cute before mine was posted, and all the wires for the PSU were ripped off from their cab and they tried to mess around with it, got shocked and passed out 😵‍💫 so sometimes it can be minimal, dangerous if youre not careful, or simple easy fixes that require some tech etc etc it varies for sure. Yeah I saw that original post of the repro mini cute's on here, but I read most parts only fit on the repros and not the originals, so yeah a newer alternative that works with originals would be a godsend for niche obscure cabs like ours haha. But I absolutely agree they are passion projects and its worth doing the sourcing/restoration/maintenance because you yourself will know exactly the diagnosis and what needs to be done in case something is off and when its done right, its the best feeling like working on a classic car that is up and running with great paint job and finish haha.

Personally speaking compared to previous years, it may be my last time doing EVO Vegas as its too expensive now, I only got two days instead of the full weekend cause it was too much money for what was essentially the same exact event as previous years, nothing really new or crazy to justify the spike in their pricing. I did not even get to compete because VSAV was main stage and needed Sun to compete, and 3rd Strike side tourney date was not finalized until the week of practically which was on Sun as well, so I had to DQ myself as the original date was for Fri, not Sun. I heard the TO for 3rd tried to fight for another day but staff was being complicated apparently. Not to mention not as many FG related vendors as previous years and a lot of the same booths/experiences.

The positives however, the arcade selection is 10/10 and probably the highlight of EVO, they went all out there was not one genre or fighter you could not play, it was amazing as always but even more so this year because they had challenges such as highest score or highest win streak to win prizes, but my favorite game to play was the exA Arcadia exclusive Asuka 120% Exallent, it was so much fun and every person who I played against were having a great time.
The artist alley was also in full swing with sooooo much merch and stamp rallies, my gf and I did two of the rally's and boy was it worth it, very excellent.

Aside from that I did not really watch any tourneys going on, more focused on playing at the arcade and buying stuff lol, but if they ever do EVO Los Angeles I would go, but Vegas nah i'm good now lol. I'm ready for new fighting game or video game related tourneys/conventions. Especially for older fighters that are active like 3S or VSAV. So hopefully I can do 3SO or Combo Breaker.

Yeah I came across that seller and I've been meaning to get the coin return button and the top hooks, but unfortunately they cannot ship the Monitor Shroud as it is considered oversize for international shipping to US and Aliexpress does not do that sadly, so the hunt for the monitor shroud continues. Thank you for responding I appreciate it!!
