Need a working windows 95 or 98 PC, with working 3.5" floppy.

Don't care what it is, so long as it works. Tired of fighting with VMs to write 1.25mb floppies, and unfortunately there's nothing I can find locally.

Oh man, the struggle is real :)

I might have something I can send free, just pay shipping. I will check it tomorrow and let you know.

Much appreciated!

Saw this as I was walking out of the office today. No power brick. But it should work. Looks very clean. Designed for WinXP, but 98 should install in it no sweat. Yours if you want it. Just pay shipping.

Aaahhhhh, you rule!

Oh man, that is sweet.

I found you one of those shuttle sff cube pc, should work, but that Sony laptop is an all in one solution.

Out of curiosity are you using that still needs floppies? We use floppy drives at work as a 'security' measure which is rather annoying, we have like half a dozen flogged out discs to share around.

X68000 Compact.

It uses 3.5" floppies formatted to 1.25mb. I have a tri-mode USB floppy drive, but no matter what I try for old windows VMs to use it, nothing seems to work. And newer windows versions don't like 1.25mb.

Oh nice, I have been tempted on several occasions to pick one up from yahoo Japan but I reckon it would ultimately just be taking up space and under appreciated

I've been buying/repairing/selling the bigger models for a bit now. Finally scored a really good deal on one of the compact models (two, actually) and it's a whole different type of madness. They've been fun to tinker with, but these little ones seem more trouble than they're worth.
