For those of you in the X68000 community, I am sure you all know how good it feels to own one of these Japanese retro computers (especially the XVI version). I mainly use it for gaming. Before 2020 I thought about getting one of these POP Stands and I was trying to hunt down the actual Sharp version. No luck. The very few I would find were priced high and seemed scratched and worn out. Last year I was able to track one down in really beautiful condition and complete. Not the actual nor original Sharp item but this one here below, which looks really slick, one by Helmets but seems really close to the original. Bought from the BEEP Store in Japan. I've had it on display in its original box and just decided to pull it out and pair it next to my X68000XVI.
Original inserts and box still looks really good.
Here are different angles to see the different variations around all sides.
The lighted four sides really makes it stand out. Anyone out there who has one or might have the original from back then? The original had the Sharp logo lighted by the base stand. Still, this one offers a great look and is now powered by a 12v usb port.
