X68000 RAM expansion not recognized

I've installed an Etarikashikoshi Midi & 8MB RAM expansion card in my newly acquired X68000 XVI and while the Midi is working fine, the RAM doesn't appear to be recognized. I used the switch command to change the RAM to 10MB, but memtest68k still reports 2MB. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be going wrong / how to debug?

Well, it turns out there was a firmware flaw in the 1st production batch of these that causes it to not work properly when running at 16MHz. I guess that means I'm in the market for a new RAM expansion card...
