Ok...so I'm just double checking here, before I hook something up and fry anything....please bear with me.
I've got Sanwa PFX monitors with both the
A68AKY tubes from Chungwa (Hres .6 / Vres 5.4 / Hind .3 / Vind 7.51)
and the
A68MAU tubes from Beijing-Matsushita. (Hres .9 / Vres 7.1 / Hind .3 / Vind 9.08 )
Most of those tubes had abysmal output on the guns, or had to be rejuvenated....and only got to just "ok".
I also have three of the A68LTF tubes from Toshiba (Hres .7 / Vres 7.7 / Hind .3 / Vind 11.63), that registered phenomenal on the guns and have minimal burn, and I wanted to be able to use them as backup for my NOS Beij-Mats tubes that are in my AWSD/E3 cabs currently.
Aside from @nem 's note on grounding pin4 on the neck to ground with a 10 mega-ohm resistor, is there anything else that needs to be noted.
I saw someone mention that convergence with that combo can be an issue, but I was under the impression that the PFX KW0606A chassis came on the A68LTF tubes in some models of the monitor.
Just trying to do my best to ensure I don't kill anything before I get started with testing.
Any extra guidance would be much appreciated.
