Consoles in a New Astro City - RGB amp needed?

I'm working on turning my New Astro City into the do-everything machine, and one of the everythings is running consoles in it. But the RGB from consoles is consumer-level, not arcade-level, and so the image is very dim. Cranking up the dials to make it brighter only results in the poor monitor amping its guts out, and a fairly rubbish (and still too dim) display.

I've solved the problem of JAMMA in a NUC, but RGB in a NAC is the new puzzle.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Thanks for the tips and messages, everyone. I reckon I'll be picking up an off-the-shelf convertor to do this.
