1P12B is the control panel configuration: 1P (1 Stick) and 12B (12 Buttons).

That’s a little odd actually. Usually it would be 6 Buttons or 3 or 4 Buttons for 1 Player. eg. 1P6B or 1P4B.

Hope that helps. The Start button is usually seperate from the above naming scheme.

Sometimes sellers say “L” for lever instead of “P” for Player: eg. 1L6B.

I’ve seen it written with J (joystick) also. 2J12B
