What's new
I've known him for awhile, following him on both FB and Instagram. Anyway he finally replied, he apologized he thought he already replied to my inquiry.
Regarding the shipment, he has no clue either beside there's a delay from USPS.

@Derick2k Since am shipping these items to my NYC address. Do you think this is typical USPS delay?

Thanks for the replies.

Yup, seems normal to me. Certain locations process mail faster than others. I ve gotten stuff from California in 3 days, and stuff from North Carolina in a week and change both sent priority mail.

Catching up on some backlog projects. Putting one of these on my Vewlix was one on the backlog. Used a different charger, but turned out pretty solid and lights up the base pretty well. Had to add some small wire extensions to the coil board to give slack to allow it to be mounted flush. Still a tight fit for the cable, so used a 90 degree USB-C cable.
Thanks @jermz1 very nice work!

Cool stuff, need to make or get me 1-2 of these.

As for me, I just taped an Apple MagSafe charger under it. Works OK to (slooowly) charge my iPhone 11 but somehow not an iPhone 12. I think it may be because it sits a bit too deep.

Looks awesome. Thanks @RandomRetro for the links. Can't wait to receive mine.

@VxD, Yeah assume the magsafe transfer distance isn't as big/far as some of the DYI coil options. Couldn't see any details online with regards to the magsafe specs, but would assume the efficiency of the charger is dropping fast for you not having the phone directly on the magsafe.

Any chance on doing more of these or was it a single run project?

Looks good. Where did you get your sticker printed and on what kind of material if you don't mind me asking? I tried like hell getting mine done locally, but they kept asking for dimensions, type of material, etc.

So just printed myself with my Epson ET-4760 Printer on vinyl sticker paper. Happy to print and send you one if needed. They aren't professional grade, but turned out good. Let me know.

I'd like to take you up on the offer. Can I Paypal you? Thank you...

Hi I want to order 1 Blue , is it still available?
If yes can you PM details please

This is an old thread, but I stumbled upon this while doing research for a arcade project of my own. Like jermz1, I wanted to reuse that area of my cab for something else, but in my case, I am trying to put a RFID reader to use with the MiSTer. I wasn't able to figure out out to reuse the nesica rfid hardware, so I am using a RC522 card reader which is slightly bigger than the original

I am waiting on the parts to arrive to see if I can just jam the RFID pcb in the same space the old one fits, but if not, I am going to be looking into 3d printing some sort of replacement exactly like the one you already made!

Earlier on this thread you mentioned not wanting to share the files, but now that you aren't selling them, maybe that has changed?
