Has there been any update on spinner options? anyone found something that works or is compatible or can be adapted?

The F3 is designed to work with any of the Taito 4-Gear Spinners (this includes Arkanoid Spinners, the Ghox spinner etc.)

I've compared the circuit and gear design of the Capcom Spinner and it is cross compatible, which means that the repo should be as well.

A future version will support arcade/pc/mister emulation, etc.. The repro will be as capcom designed for now, unless we can do an add-on for it to work with others systems/setups.
Fantastic!

Hi : let me know if the ghox spinners become available. I will be looking for a set and am looking for a ghox pcb. Im sure this will be a battle to find the pcb though.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but would this spinner be a good fit for arkanoid on the F3? https://www.ebay.com/itm/333664491013
No need to be sorry if it is on topic

Sadly I don't think those will work as they emulate a mouse input for PC if I'm not mistaken. I doubt it would work, but the most lucky option would be if the spinner wires could be wired to jamma instead of their PCB. No idea if that spinner would create the proper pulses for an F3 like the happ red board does.

So could I use one of those arcade1up noname spinners and hook it up to the happ red board?

I was more hoping in theory the 4 wires from the spinner to USB board carried pulse signals eliminating the red board entirely, but I don't want to theorize too much. Hopefully someone else knows for sure.

why spend $91 for a spin track when you can buy an original Taito Spinner for less? most are in the $50-$75 range depending on condition.
where /when have you seen them for that? I can't remember when I last saw one under 500

I'm curious where you're seeing these ABOVE $500? I bought a whole NOS Taito 2-player Spinner panel for $400 off of YAJ last year and the most I've ever seen a NOS still in the box Taito spinner sell for is around $300.

mostly ebay, I wasn't aware of this forum/organization. It's close/donor only, so I just made a donation and hopefully I'll see a spinner pop up there once I have an account there.

KLOV is the largest and oldest Arcade forum on the internet. Its worth being on there just for the marketplace
