Hummer Extreme-> Outrun 2SP

I’m toying with the idea of converting a Hummer Extreme cabinet to run Outrun. The schematics look very similar.

Anyone tried this before? Anything to watch out for?

It uses an LCD, so I don’t have to deal with all the drama that comes with a CRT. Big plus in my book.

I thought of this myself. Shouldn't be too hard. You'll have to jerryrig a shifter though somehow.

I wonder if the boost button could be swapped out for a shifter somehow?

So far I have just changed the game over . At this stage (with no other changes)when playing in manual boost button unpressed is neutral , pressed once is shift down , but when double tapped it seems to shift up normally as an auto . I have not even bothered to check the wiring schematics at this stage , as I have ordered a complete instrument panel from yaton6262 on ebay
