So I've got my NEC LCD that supports 15KHz modes and I recently purchased a Sync Stirke: http://arcadeforge.net/Scaler-and-Strike-Devices/Sync-Strike::15.html So that I could easily plug SCART devices into it for testing.
I've got a bench top JAMMA harness that runs the video pins to a SCART connector. I use this on my PVM all the time. Last night I wanted to do some testing with my STV board and decided it would be a good chance to try it out.
I ran 5V to the connector, made sure the switch was set to External Power, power LED came on, VGA out to the LCD, but my NEC ignored the signal. I unplugged the SCART connector from the Sync Strike and plugged it into my PVM and the picture came up perfectly.
What am I doing wrong here?
