Hi Guys,
Brand new to the scene and the forum. Been building custom PCs and repairing electronics for years and am looking forward to the challenge of refurbishing an arcade cab. I do not have any ready goals in mind and have not convinced the wife of the new hobby yet. But my close proximity to CoinOpWarehouse will allow me to snatch up project cabs at a decent price since I won't need shipping. Thinking of starting small with a 2 player JAMMA cab conversion to a Pandora's box, or retroPie to get started. Then start fixing up dedicated retro cabinets from there. Looking forward to prodding this hive mind for ideas and if I run into problems.
