What's new
You definitely can't fault Joey's work...

I sent my faulty wei-ya chassis on Wednesday, he got it Thursday, worked on it, sent it on Thursday too, I had it on Friday! It was the best!

Definitely recommend sending a chassis to Joey (Jomac). A chassis will fit in a flat rate 3kg or 5kg bag with no issues, that's only $15! He sends them back in a custom box he's had made to fit chassis in perfectly. The pro-route is to spend the few extra bucks and send them in the Express post satchel, which is only slightly more expensive.

Jomac's turnaround on a chassis is very fast (1-3 days), we are very lucky to have his services, and I would definitely take advantage of it while he's still doing the work. You won't be disappointed. All my PSU's have been refurbished by him, and all my chassis will end up his way some time this year.

@tmax

Sorry to hear about your faulty monitor! I'm sure HIghwaynet will issue you a refund.

Which state are you located in?
Howdy...

Victoria...Yeah! rang them up, receptionist was nice but the sales guy just wasn't interested in helping, didn't care...

Told him outside package/carton was damaged on the corner when it arrived and a piece of the plastic holding the yolk and wires was broken... they shoved all this white polystyrene in-between yoke and chassis... tried superglueing it back and hoped for the best... no go.

Have bought stuff before from them with no problem and their service has been pretty good, don't know what happened this time, maybe he was having a bad day.

Shit that sucks man. Mine was packed to the brim with polystyrene as well.

I'm probably going to list mine locally for sale. I really need something that's good at 15khz unfortunately.

All in all for the money and if being used for 31khz, they're pretty good.

@oneleaf86

Yeah! I'm used to it these days...

I got it to replace my Weiya in my Atomiswave SD, they are getting very difficult to repair (parts), it's a twin focus design.

Looks like I'll have to speed up repair on the Weiya... that was a twin sync design and was pretty decent on 15kHz.

Sorry to hear it's no good, 'cause I need a monitor to be good @15kHz as well...

If you do end up getting a NOS NAMCO Toshiba PF clone from Zax, would love to know if it's any good... but yeah! that price... at least it's new.

What's the model of the weiya chassis? I have a spare weiya chassis laying around somewhere which was being used on a astro style curved tube when I pulled it.

I'm going to see if I can view the monitor at Zax running and if it's decent I'll see if I can talk them down a bit with some sneaky cash :D . Zax actually provides all of the games we have on site where I work so maybe they'll be nice :|

@oneleaf86

Thanks for suggestion... its' not a curved tube it's a Samsung Super Flat Tube (A68QCP891X001) with weiya M3129 (twin Focus version) been told parts hard to get for chassis..

Looking for someone to transport a cab from Melbourne to Brisbane.

This one guy called Bill has been inconsistent with his communication. Was wondering if anyone knew of anyone else?

I've used hytech transport on a couple of occasions (Mel to Sydney, Newcastle to Sydney).

You're probably best to call them..i enquired about a job months ago, I still haven't heard back :D :D

I’ve spoken with Bill twice, when I was moving my Universal, nice guy, no worries on the phone but he did take 3 or 4 days to respond with an sms quote! Couldn’t quote me on the phone due to the Universals dimensions. Understandable. All the pinball guys seem to rate him. I think he only seems to move pins and arcades which is what attracts me.

The seller of the cab has been back and forth with Bill for a few weeks now. I’ll try him myself now and see where I can get.
