FS REPRO SEGA, SNK and TAITO Panels

Hello Everyone,

So i been i touch with @Rbtamanini in doing a DB 2p Panel since taito never created one. I shipped him my 1p panel as guidance to making one. After a few months I finally got the 2p panel like a few days ago but I’ve been to busy with life stuff to get around to it. But I finally did and i will be giving my review.

Positive Feed back = i will say that the accuracy on mimicking the panel is just wow the artwork and finish to it is AMAZINGGGGG by far the best!! And ill tell you i had bought a repo panel for my DB vewlix a while back from someone in chille and the difference is night and day. If your unsure of the quality im here to say the artwork is amazing and if your gonna buy a repo panel this is it.



Negative Feedback = aside from the artwork perfection my negativity just like @ekorz said , packaging is poor , i admire the attempt but that need some work, and I also received the error panel that is misaligned and i refused to drill into the vewlix control panel, so i did manage to force the panel to the right while pressing down that bottom right screw pin to make it fit BUT while trying to screw in that pin even careful it broke due to the fact that i bend the pin a little when i force the panel to the right but it was lifted to much and it looked weird so i keep screwing a little more and boom broke. This is an error that he is fixing so for future buyer don’t have to worry about this happening. Mistakes are made.

Here are some pictures comparing to my 1p panel and comparing to my other repo panel i bought elsewhere and the right bottom lift and broke pin.

Hello Kingsopz, thank you very much for your feedback, surely one of the things that I will improve will be the package, I already planned to buy custom-made boxes for the panels.

as for the problem with the misaligned screw, I will send you a PM to solve this.

The finish is pretty rad. In the last year or two, Taito's quality has shifted with Vewlix panels. There are other Vewlix panel places that don't do as good of work (or just don't ship), so Mr Rbtamanini- your services are needed to fill this void for Vewlix panels.

alrighty, a friend and I worked on some blast panels. One I'm planning to stick a neo geo multi in for a long time and the other ikaruga. These two cabs were pretty much my grails when I got into this silly hobby and it is getting so close. My only issue now is I cannot for the life of me get 31hz naomi working on either of my blast cabs, but 15hz works so good enough until I have time to pull the monitor and attempt to figure that out. Here are our panel designs. For Ikaruga, I have an idea for doing the buttons in a similar way to the function text on the panel with the bezel and inner part being different colors. I think it will be cool but it is hard to say until I get the panel and buttons. Maybe I do lighted buttons too. I considered a plain white/black panel and buttons but I kind of liked where someone just erased the color in the image they used and left the shots with color around them, so I went with that.

For neo I'll just use the standard 4 colors.

i flipped the dips and tried through dsub and through the jamma edge. 31hz just does nothing for me. flipped the switch on the naomi for 31hz. I know the naomi works in 31hz because I have hooked it up to a tv with vga in. I'm pretty stumped after trying every setting in two cabs with that monitor. I also tried adjusting the H. H 30 pot, no luck. the chasis has a ton of pots which I have no idea what they do and documentation is lacking for it as far as I can tell. Eventually I'll pull the monitor. I really want 31hz and I also need to do a little mod for stereo audio and then with this panel it shall be complete!

Naomi 15 to monitor in 15 works. I didn’t try anything other than Naomi into the monitor at 31.

It is dip switch 1 to flip between 31 and 15 on naomi. I have confirmed 15 and 31 work on my naomi. My issue is definitely something with the monitor.

hello everyone,

I got a replacement control panel, man nothing but positive feed back from me. The new hard box the panel comes in now compared to the first time around is perfect and the panel lined up perfect on the vewlix.
