For your question:
I was one of the first on the list . Do I need something new? Also I have a slight issue with the earth that’s giving me a good shock on the system . Love it still everyday @drfunk2k I’m from the Netherlands.
Here are the two relevant answers:
Starting with orders #17 and going we have updated 2 chips inside the CBOX.

we have updated these chips. This allows you to press the layout button for 3 seconds and enter custom mode. then you press buttons 1-6 in the order you want for a custom button layout , then press layout button to exit.

lets call it JVS/JAMMA CBOX v2.1

This video will show you which two chips to remove to replace them with the chips that allow for custom button layout. This allows you to press the layout button for 3 seconds and enter custom mode. then you press buttons 1-6 in the order you want for a custom button layout , then presss layout button to exit.

We will offer the chips FOR FREE, but you must pay for the shipping.
We are not responsible if you damage your unit.
Experts only.
Once I get the new chips and if you want them, I will be able to ship them to you.

I could do US unless someone with more time wants to. Count me at least as a backup

list updated PROPS braintrash for the help!

Has anyone tested this with the OSSC? I am trying that now - and while I have no issues on my bench using this with my Sony PVM, the OSSC doesn't seem to like it.

It never syncs up to send signal through to the TV.

I drop my HAS in - and it works perfectly.

Matt

I am glad the OSSC came up as I was wondering the same thing - if not OSSC, what is the recommendation for use of the CBox on a larger 75" 4K TV?
I do not have experience with scalers and first attempt to use the Naomi, Chihiro, Triforce, Lindbergh and RingEdge on a modern TV and outside of an arcade cabinet. I want it to fill the screen and look as good as possible (limited lag) - what are the recommendations at this point? Perhaps covered extensively somewhere else, but couldn't find the information. I am very interested in a CBox, but would need to use on a modern TV and wondering about that experience. Thanks.

Figured it out - I moved the sync switch from "compensated" to "direct" and it came right up!
