What's new
I ordered two, but I didn't see a way to adjust the quantity. So it might look like a duplicate or an accident, but it isn't.

Any chance this is the same site that VS kit you posted a while back may end up on? Still VERY excited about that one

will an adapter like this: VGA TO HDMI work to pass the video onto an El Gato 60s capture card? Or do I need a higher end device like an OSSC?

That depends on if the HDMI device will accept 15KHz horizontal scan rate and with composite sync over the HDMI port. In theory, it could work, but in practice I would not expect it to. The El Gato ones are famously picky as it is, as I remember.
The OSSC is a recommended prescaler. I use mine at 4X for this purpose.

OSSC is flawless. I’ve also done testing with the GBS-C AIO and the RetroTINK 5x.

The GBS-C AIO works as well, without issues. Albeit you gotta adjust the Splitfire brightness a bit to compensate for the unit’s dimmer capture.

The RetroTINK 5x works well with boards which are close to “standard” sync levels. Granted, you’ll need a HD-15 (VGA) to SCART adapter or cable to connect it up.
If you use this with the Splitfire I recommend a middleman device or circuit to regenerate the sync. I’ll be testing an Extron 192V device for this purpose very soon.

Im gonna be trying vga to component this weekend with the tink 5x and the splitfire. Ill see how that goes. I got an ossc on the way either way, but itl be interesting to see how it fares.

Quick question about the gain knobs. The video gain had an obvious effect in OBS capture, but the other knob (audio gain, presumably?) didn't seem to make any difference. The desktop prompted me for "line in" or "mic in" when I connected audio; I assumed line in was the correct choice. I didn't have anything handy to listen directly, was just watching the peak meter in OBS. Is it expected that at min or max the level meter seems to read the same? Do I just need to dredge up some headphones with a mini jack to listen directly to adjust it?

Arrived today - only took 7 days from San Francisco to UK. Can't wait to try it out!

received it today :D

Got mine Today.
I don't know when I can test, but I'll put on a video when I'm done. :D

does anyone have a recommendation about which scart to vga adapter to use or buy for the retro tink 5x? I remember, at least I think, it was stone age gamer having some, but they are sold out. Are there are others that will work fine with the Splitfire? Thank you~

If you have an OSSC you can just use a ordinary VGA Cable.
But In my setup I don't want to use it so I would need one too. :D
Any clues guys???
