CPS1 Multi. Official Thread

Interesting @Darksoft but does that cause any difference in the actual games? They don't seem to be on timers or anything.
 
Yes, I desoldered the battery holder to remove the battery. Initially I tried to only remove the battery but I couldn't.
 
I think I was more wondering if there were changes made specifically for the hotel environment, these sound more like bugfixes. Basically wondering what makes the resale versions not suited for normal arcade use, but may have misunderstood that was implied.
 
I wonder if the dip switch functionality is different?

yeah now I'm wondering too. would be nice to see a manual or something from one of these versions

e: though once the multi xtal comes out this will not be so significant
 
It is unknown why the resale version was made.
I have a resale version of Strider.
I think I made something that works with Street Fighter II CE because there was a lot of extra board.

Maybe a CPS changer is involved.

Oh interesting, so you confirm the 1941 resale version exists? Because as far as I know it hasn’t been made publicly available.
 
my multi arrived today. I am really happy. I thank everyone who contributed to make this wonder possible.

Do you have a concrete source? Despite my research, I never found this version.
 
About the case , this is the best one! The cps1 multi will fit flawlessly I had only to bend inside the kick harness pins. Many Thanks to Darksoft for this dream piece of hardware!

Maaaaaan, that's lit.. However I guess if someone doesn't have any spare 1.5 cases, it is going to cost him a fortune to hunt one down...

It's the best one! in my case not willing to take apart one of my cps1.5 and leave it Frankensteined though

I had one alredy broken set of Slam master , game wich I do not love so was easy to use its cage...however made a 3d printed case based on the original 1.5 one and well refined would be so great !
