What's new
Hi dude,ES1 box smaller than ES3?You can find NVIDIA 1060(3G) install it,performance very well.I have 1 ES3 change it,running 1080P (tekken r2)full effect 60 fps.

ES1 ES3 is essentially a standard PC, and the difference from a PC is the I/O part and the TPM encryption part. The arcade app blocked mouse and keyboard, keep only the dongle and joystick.
My ES3 cabinet board was thrown away by me to eat ashes, waiting for the need to use it later.
Yes, the ES1 case is a lot smaller than the ES3. I only had the AMD RX460 on hand but performance is just as good as the GTX760. I will eventually replace the card with a GTX 1050. I know that the systems are PCs and that’s why I was so easily able to swap out the motherboards. Luckily I don’t need the USB security dongle and only need to keyboard to switch games. Also, the I/O ESIF pcb are extremely similar to one another, so JVS still works on the ES1.

I've completely replace the ES3 motherboard and reinstalled Street Fighter 4 and it works fine.

Welp, the original Green Text GTX760 finally died my bois, after two months from coming back from the dead, it has served its time. Well, since my rebuilt system has no TPM, I put back the PNY GTX760. Works perfectly fine again!

Rate my setup lol!
Anyway, wanted to share something extremely cool! Since I do have a stock ES3 now, I wanted to try system link multiplayer. Well, it works! Very cool!

Wow , do it with tekken 7fr r2 4.20 and let us see if will be good and sync
I only tried it with the versions (TE7,TER,TR2S1) I got but if I can “find” another 4.20, I’ll try it. Unfortunately, the versions I got are completely incompatible, both a 4.10 and 4.20. As long as they are the same exact version, they should link. Haven’t seen any disconnection issues. :)

After the game does it still boot up normal or it will be a black screen afterwards?

Took me a while to understand lol, the winner will continue into the CPU battle but the loser will have two options (for vanilla) either end the game and the game will go into the attract mode after the game over screen or have revenge match, the later games have an additional option, revenge match with a different character.

sure, that's TK7 Round 2 add this option,TK7 FR have not.

Why should it "not work" ? The local play is working great on FR2 4.2.
I’ve heard that the dumps used for Teknoparrot and Jconfig have issues like disconnecting after a match. Tbh, I haven’t tried Teknoparrot as much but Jconfig seems to be working fine with my files 🤷‍♂️

Ah I understand. I'm not a big fan of using such dump and prefer to have clean one coming from a real system.

The difference between the real system and the dump system is that the real system uses hardware to drive the game program, while the dump system uses DLL files to bypass hardware to drive the game. The dumping process will cause some input and output delays, but the real system will not.

No it won’t, the dumps and the real game play exactly the same. I don’t notice any differences in terms of lag.

The game dumps still make use of the original JVS. Teknoparrot and Jconfig are JVS emulators. But the dumps work as intended on real hardware as well
