Franco is right. The dump found on other forum like <insert your own search on google here> are just copy of the files found in VHD disk images. They are not heavily modified so "not that bad" but still unclear about what version of the game they are from (VHD are stacked up at each update) and of course, if you want to be close the original ES3 you would need to rebuild the VHD on a real OS ES3 base.

I personnaly prefer to use original stuff but using a dump would work nicely for sure.

Franco i will be acquiring a es3 (x) and I'll be in pointers in your tips here and hope to help me ok hehehe

Franco is very consistent in this Namco Stuff and helpful

It’s actually possible to make the dumps run like a real system but you’ll need to know how to edit stuff to make them work properly, or just bypass all of that and make the games run as is without the scripts, I’m not going into the specifics though.

The VHD dumps goes as followed:
Vanilla Tekken 7: TE7100-1-NA-MPR0-A01

Tekken 7 FR: TER100-1-NA-MPR0-A00

Tekken 7 FR R2: TR2100-1-MPR0-A00

However, running with the scripts, Vanilla and TER, change to:

Vanilla: TE7100-6-NA-MPR0-M03 (Korean)

Tekken 7 FR: TER100-1-NA-MPR0-A24

No it won’t, the dumps and the real game play exactly the same. I don’t notice any differences in terms of lag.

The game dumps still make use of the original JVS. Teknoparrot and Jconfig are JVS emulators. But the dumps work as intended on real hardware as well

Great News,In my city some players said that the arcade version of TEKKEN 7 has a delay compared to the PC version (don't know input or the monitor or othe things), I've always been confused, it seems that it's just the player's own problem, not the device.

Vanilla Tekken 7 has delay in arcades here in our community

Tekken 7 frR2 no delay in sync in versus

Delay and slowdowns sometimes cause of faulty Videocards of the es3 system

Delays can also be caused by the HDDs, especially since Namco used 5400rpm drives and they are pretty much old at this point. Using an SSD or even a 7200rpm HDD can increase a bit of performance. But that would require some serious effort and knowledge on backing up the original ES3 HDD as they are heavily encrypted, both software and hardware wise, or go the other “route”, which also requires some knowledge on setting up stuff.

But if you’re talking about vs play linking, then yes, Tekken 7 Vanilla syncs kinda slow, the other games I got sync much faster. I am planning on doing a video showing how to link ES3s and the time it takes for each system to sync to one another. Should be fun but I got to make some proper controls for player 2.

Players mainly focus on the input of the controller and the output of the display. They point that the graphics is 2-3 frames slower than expected, which punish 10 frames but cannot be realized.

In terms of hard disk read speed, do not have such problems, which should mainly appear in the 2 points mentioned above(controller, display screen.

Ah! I see, JVS does suffer from “minor” input lag problems and the Unreal Engine isn’t that great either. Monitors/Displays can cause latency problems but I don’t have a Noir to see if they have lag. The monitor I use has a low response time (2ms) and I don’t notice any lag (dump or real game).

To my understanding, the original Tekken 7 cabs still shipped with 720p displays but the ones from FATED RETRIBUTION onwards, upgraded to 1080p?

Also @Toyxf, I believe you never mentioned what version of the game your local arcade has?

Oh? I didn't say it? I originally had 2 units Tekken 7 Vanilla(HP bar is blue), and then upgraded to FR(HP bar is yellow), and then to TK7 ROUND 2(S2) - last character is CRAIG MARDUK.
The current version is the final version of S2 (last character is julia) that everyone can download.
The original equipment and system have been used by me Broken (ES3), unusable.
Later,i will post picture for our arcade game center and tekken 6 tekken 7 game.

What to do to this vanilla es3(x) helpppp

It looks a problem with BitLocker, it may be the failure of the motherboard TMP chip, or the hard disk may have bad sectors.

Just in case anyone is curious, these are the Tekken 7 versions I got in my collection currently.

Ok, cool, you can still fight Jin as a Sub Boss in vanilla Tekken 7 lol! It was rumored that you needed Banapassport cards to fight him but obviously it’s not true.

Alright, we’ll I'm back over here lol, unfortunately the TER ES3 unit has a bad motherboard so I put the X10SLQ motherboard in here for now and as a bit of a challenge, I wanted to use the original ES3 software. Installing drivers for this specific motherboard was a bit of a pain but in the end, I got it all up and running.

Hello Franco please could you help me solve this? I have a bad motherboard in a Mario Kart ES3, if I find a good Supermicro C7B75 and swap the bios chip would work?
Thank you!
