Also... it looks like it might be JST EH, kind of like the Toshiba boards?

thx but these one are not female to male connectors seems like the entire connector is crimped and soldered to the board.

Maybe a JST EHR-5.

I’ll follow how you go @cruzlink2. I’m looking to put a 2931 into my Windy II.

@cruzlink2 ok had a look at my 2931 and I see what you mean. The connectors are fixed to the board. So yeah, I don’t think what I wrote above is correct. Those ones are for the video signals I believe.

Would one option be to rework the board to add a through hole EH connector? That way, it is way easier to replace going forward (and matches what the PF etc. use).

Looking at my 2931 I was just thinking about a good old cut, insert new length pieces, solder and shrink wrap. I’m very reluctant but sick of looking at an otherwise perfectly good cabinet not running. I also wondered if I could just raise the chassis up higher in the windy ii to avoid lengthening these neckboard wires.
