Hi guys when i plug in the pc in the vewlix diamond black the screen is offset to the right about an inch. using a nvidia 3060ti cant find any options in the nvidia control panel to adjust it. also tried different resolutions updating drivers ect.. is there any hidden buttons on the monitor that i can press to move the screen back to the center?
one thing i found is that if i lower the resolution to 1280 x 1024 or lower i get the option of putting the monitor refresh rate to 60.02 instead of 60 and that allows me to set set the screen to stretch mode and everything fits on monitor frame but then everything looks stretched out. anyone else experiencing this and found a solution?
tried different vga calbes to hdmi and different pcs also has same problem.

I just had a similar problem this past week on my Vewlix F except it was offset to the left. I was also using a VGA to HDMI. I swapped to a dvi to hdmi (then a hdmi to DisplayPort active cable) and the problem went away. I’m not experienced enough to tell you why it happens but I just wanted to share what fixed it for me.

Just using a dvi to hdmi cable displayed no picture for me so that’s why I got an active hdmi to DisplayPort (DisplayPort mostly because that’s what I preferred to use on my pc since the hdmi port was already in use) to go along with it. Hopefully someone can chime in on the technical side of things so we can both learn though.

how do you use the hdmi to display port cable. my vewlix monitor only has vga and dvi port
are you doing vga to hdmi then to another active display port adapter?
can you link me to what you used or similar item

thanks!

I’m using this which I bought from that store locally and the cable I’m using from the cab is a dvi to hdmi which I bought on Amazon awhile back. This one. That cable didn’t display any picture though until I got the active hdmi to DisplayPort I linked..

They are cheap enough that maybe you can give them a shot but I can’t guarantee what worked for me works for you since I don’t really know the technical details of why it works and we do have different cabs. But I hope it helps you in some way if someone else more knowledgeable doesnt come along with better details!

Ps. Btw I’m really jealous of your Diamond Black purchase :)

With VGA since it's analog, the monitor has to set the phase and position. The F monitor has an auto detect and manual adjustment in it's OSD. I'm not familiar with the DB though.

That said, a digital signal (dvi-d, dp, hdmi) is a better option. What are the inputs on your monitor and what are the outputs on your computer?

I thought I tried pushing all the buttons hoping there was a OSD to change things like that but the only buttons that did anything were the screen on/off and to change between dvi/vga inputs. I’ll have to take another look later. Thanks for the info.

I don't understand why HDMI (computer) to DVI (monitor) wouldn't work. That's what you should be using. Set your resolution to 1920x1080 and try a different cable.

i did a reset to factory on the monitor and it worked for me. wonder why your menu was blocked
How did you so reset to factory on menu? It's on the menu monitor?

The problem I been having when connecting dvi to dvi it's output at 4:3 not 16:9 using an older card 9800gt just for light steam games. Since I Frankenstein old pc parts. When I do vga to dvi adapter it changes to 16:9 but the image is horrible and all static/wavy looking.

I also used a radeon 5450 with just vga and that came out perfect, 16:9. when I connect dvi nothing happens, same with dvi to hdmi cable. I believe dvi port is fried or something. Anyways I might just use that 5450. Although I wanted to use it for another mame setup. Finicky monitor.
