I found this sucker locally and it looks like it was the stand up version that got chopped down ( I see the black marker on the bottom of The legs where it was cut). It has been hacked up with a Jamma harness , some power supply to run the Jamma ( thank god the sun psu is still in there ) and the monitor chassis was swapped with a wei-ya vga chassis at some point. I’m diving in!

So far I need:
-Whole wiring harness (bought)
-The sega io board that sits in the control panel (bought)
-The board with the red square buttons that also sits where the io board sits (bought)
-The whole coin mech(bought)
- new Japanese sticks and butttons (bought)
- new control panel for these^ (bought)

Hit me up if you have any of these!

I forgot to take a picture but the monitor was turning on and only had a red line on the right side , no picture. So I took it apart today and started the disassembly and cleaning. Check this soldering :/ a lot of wires were just twisted together , like the vga to Jamma wires 🤦‍♂️
I took the chassis out and found a lot to cold solder joints and just went to town looking it over . I took a picture of the first one that I found.

I put the chassis back in and fired it up and got a picture! It was too sunny to see anything so I waited till after my footy match to check and dial in the picture. It has that weird like still on the right side. When I adjust the h size , the picture starts to get squished on that side. Why would that be happening? I took a bunch of pictures of different attract screens so you can see when stuff is squished and the line itself

It might be a good idea to post a photo of the chassis, maybe so someone here could help you better.

Here’s the hacked up old cp. picking up a 6 button panel locally and I’ll just need an overlay for it. Where could I get one?

Got a buddy locally to print the overlay for me easy peasy 😁 the cab is cleaning up nicely while I wait for parts to come in
I got some small repairs to do on the front bezel (plus it’s yellowed to shite, that won’t stand)
Here are some monitor chassis pics also (forgot to take previously)
Also, does anyone do the side art on these? I’m missing the letters from “Naomi universal cabinet “ on both sides and one side is missing the red stripe altogether

Yes - you can get a repro sideart:

getting back to this one; got it in from the garage finally into the basement. Got the full oem wiring harness now, buttons and joysticks , a stainless steel cp with art from arcade art shop and the side panel art. Now I’m just just going through other threads trying to find out how the wiring is all routed.

Does anyone have pictures of the wiring that runs down the right side leg?(when looking at the front of the machine)
Also im a little confused as to the wiring since im going from us to Japanese wiring. It looks like there’s a small board behind the sound board , in front of the mini transformer on the tray? Can someone confirm this, and also a small pcb that goes beside the big transformer. I don’t have either

It's just a distribution board for AC. Japanese cabs have a power switch behind the PCB door, EU (and I guess US) cabs do not.

IIRC right hand side leg has AC going up to the monitor and marquee and also coin meter wiring,

My new cp didn’t have the bolts for the joysticks so I punched the ones out of the old cp , measured the locations out and welded them in.i also welded in those tabs on the top side

I went to install the new cp overlay and I almost had it perfect the first time but the right side wasn’t aligned properly with the carriage bolt holes. So I pulled up on the overlay and :(..it (the adhesive) grabbed onto the cp and just pulled apart on the back side .

I went ahead and finished the assembly and I guess I can live with it
