$500 from continental to HI? That would be pretty good! I'll check, I just don't know if they have normal rates since it's technically domestic. $500 is normal to anywhere in the continental US. You don't want to know what it costs to ship directly ):
 
What do people do for 2p Vewlix F panels these days? I’ve just seen negative things about shadaloo, I don’t see that panel on jansen’s site. Can you still get Taito panels? I want a vewlix but if I can’t get a nice 2p panel that is a problem for me. I definitely want it to be a 2p cab.

yes you can still get them from Taito, but AFAIK you need to "assemble" them yourself. as in you get the bare panel and the artwork and need to add the artwork to the panel yourself, and then buy all the buttons and sticks separate, and buy (or build) the harness separate. etc
 
How much does that kit go for and how would I order it? Is applying the artwork tricky? The other stuff is easy enough.
 
The bare panel is not that expensive, around $120
Then you need 2 joystick brackets/plates, sort of a must have with the panel
Artwork (whatever they have available, as some stuff is out of production) so you might not even get any 2P overlay
For these 3 you are looking at around $250-300, plus shipping/bank fees

Which artwork did you get for the CP, the F?
There are 2 versions of the bare 2P control plate, the 8400 yen is their lower cost one, so it tends to be more flexible/thinner imo ;)

How do you order this stuff? And what is the part number for the better plate?

@Derick2k It should be for the FC. You recommend a different one? Might have time to switch mine... I just asked for "all the parts" for a Vewlix FC 2J14B and Yugo sent back that list.

That should be the F 2P panel, Taito did not make a Capcom 2P panel for the FC sadly.

Yea super sad they didn't make a two player FC overlay.
It would be mirror finish with dark red paint like the single player IF they did (and it would have looked awesome).

I think the reproduction issue/problem is unique to the Capcom overlay because it's basically metallic, like foil or something IDK?
None of the other overlays are like that, rather they are all semi transparent thick plastic.
 
I uh, think I'm just starting another concurrent container. I've been puzzling over the last week how everything is even going to fit, there's too much going on. I think that's the only way we'll get other candies and Vewlixes. Next two weeks I might not be able to get back very fast, container arrives this week and there's a show next week. I'll try to keep up as best I can
 
Ok so the lead time on the 2p panel sticker is now 90 days and the panel won’t be produced until there are 10 orders. The joystick brackets are in stock. Anyone else need a 2p panel? Hopefully it doesn’t take too long for them to get 10 orders.

Oh is there any cool cheap stuff I should order while I have the chance?
 
They will only sell you parts for the cabs, and even then, nothing nesica or fast io related.

It was nice meeting you at the CAX 2018. I wanted to purchase the Neo Geo cab but my wife wouldn't allow it.
