Try first do piggybacking with known good chips to see if something changes on the screen.

Check the two palette RAMs near the edge connector (they are Sony CXK5814 so high failure rate devices).

I don't know, I have to do some logic analyizing to compare signals of original custom IC and reproduction.Probably it's something to do with FPGA being too much fast for the old TTL hosting hardware.I don't think there is some mistake in 'furrtek' work since the reproduction works fine on all...
