Well, it was sold to me as equipped with the toshiba monitor but wouldn't be surprised if I got screwed. To be honest I haven't opened it up to check. I will try and have a look this week.

I have also had no luck with my cps2 and trisync helper with tosh monitor. Trisync helper gives me a wavy image. Fortunately, image is stable without it so I simply don't use it. Is anyone making cps2-jammafier kick harnesses?

Mine does not appear cut haphazardly. You have a pic? still dont have mine up and running yet. My only JVS board is giving me issues, so I ordered a jammafier today. Hopefully the cab is fine otherwise. Looks to be in good shape.

As an update. I contacted Sega Ken as suggested at irepairsega and his first suspicion turned out to be correct. I cracked the motherboard open and A CPU fan wasn't spinning. Needs a new bearing apparently so that's what's next on the docket. As an aside, ken is extremely legit and if you need...

Hmm. Ok, I will try this. it is the toshiba. the motherboard fan powers up and the raspi gets juice, but still no sound or picture. will get back at it tonight after work. Might have solved the raspi netdimm communication problem at least.

it’s been a bit of a nightmare. My instinct is that it’s a motherboard issue but I have no idea where to start troubleshooting. Sigh.
