What you want is called "midnight special" which allows you to install SN2 on any hard drive that fits into the PS2 drive bay in the back of the Python2 board.

Yeah, I have Doom ultimate on my cabinet downstairs. I haven't provided a way to swap out the WAD in a compiled binary so you'd have to compile it yourself for now.

For all nobody that was trying the alpha, the port is considered "finished" and has a ton more options, proper stereo sound, control remapping, save/load game support, runs butter smooth and has a shareware WAD precompiled to try with netboot setups. Grab 1.01 here...
