FS Toshiba PF PD2367 Chassis Recapped and Tested

Toshiba PF PD2367 chassis, recently recapped and tested. I did dust it off, but didn't give it a deep cleaning. Will get a shot of it running when I have a moment to dig out my test tube, but it worked fine last I tested it a few weeks back. I have too many chassis sitting around. Asking $400...

MS9-29FN22 cap identification on 05A00585D1 chassis

Lists should be treated purely for reference only. Always replace with the same values as what came out. If one of your questions is about C951, many kits come with 220uf instead of 180uf. It's fine to use the 220uf in this case.

    MS9-29S Nanao/Toshiba - convergence issue - help

I use my bare hands for monitor setup all the time. If you don't know where not to touch, then you probably should not be working on monitors. Yes you can use silicone, or even hot glue.

    MS9-29S Nanao/Toshiba - convergence issue - help

Rotating the pair moves/rotates them together, splitting the pair moves red/blue towards or away from each other.

    MS9-29S Nanao/Toshiba - convergence issue - help

Adjust the middle pair of rings, which is red/blue static convergence. Pretty easy.

    retrofitting from 25" to 27"

This guy did it with his War Final Assault: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjBWdvgK3t0 You can always just run the Naomi in 15khz. Looks a little less pretty, but works fine. Also, who's your guy with a surplus of monitors? Lol

    My Ongoing Monitor Repair Logs

Yeah. I have some of the HR 46152 and they work but unfortunately HV is way too low, even with it maxed out in the extended menu, so the raster is huge.

    My Ongoing Monitor Repair Logs

Also a bit of an update for what's in the queue right now: -PF PB9929: Runaway HV/HV shutdown -PF PD1843: Blows Q412, otherwise runs normally -PF PD1843 #2: Works fine but B+ has a huge droop on cold start and resolution change -E31S: No pincushion/width control but flyback confirmed good (bad...

    Maximum Tune 3DX+ Restoration/Refurbish

I managed to source another STR2 board from Canada--it arrived and now all four cabinets have working FFB with my own boards. I put some temporary marquees on, closed up the cabs, and hosted the first playtest with several players from the local 5DX+ scene. It went great, no crashes or issues...

    Maximum Tune 3DX+ Restoration/Refurbish

No more giant hole. This weekend, I get to apply NOS side art :) It didn't come through in the photos, but what it came with was a really crappy reprint, hand cut with scissors. Interestingly, the plastic material on this one is slightly different. It is less glossy, a shade or two brighter...
