Converting a Korean lever setup to Sanwa isn't too bad. I made a 3D printed conversion bracket to do this several years back when I picked up a Korean lever Panzer for cheap.
It's been a while since I messed with it, but you can force different/lower resolutions in the x68k core by adding some entries to mister.ini
djsheep posted this setting on the "MiSTer FPGA" forum thread which probably works. Just be aware that scaling will probably be off (stuff like text will...
Here is the case for V2 of the MP07-IONA-US. It was quickly put together using my original case as a base, then adjusted to fit the new design based on the dimensions provided on https://toyoshim.github.io/iona-us/en
Please consider this an UNTESTED case, since I don't have a MP07-IONA-US V2 to...
I've had a few people offer to send me their PCB to borrow in order to make a V2 case, but what I didn't realize until just now is that toyoshim posted a detailed image on his manual page that shows the critical dimensions of the PCB. With these dimensions, and a more case friendly design due to...
Greater LA area. If someone is willing to go through the trouble of putting one in my hands to borrow, then I can probably knock out an updated model fairly quickly, time permitting.
I don't have a Twitter account to reply, but Toyoshim-san is more than welcome to link the case to his site, or host the STL directly (credit would be appreciated).
If I happen get my hands on the newer board revision, I'll probably update the model as well. I wouldn't expect or count on this...
After making a snap fit case for the MP07-IONA-US PCB, I decided to make one for the USB2DB15 as well.
The side walls of the case are very thin (.9mm), so it should fit on a Minigun Supergun. PLA should be OK since the snap tabs are much tougher than the ones I used on the MP07-IONA-US case...
Thanks to my warped sense of priorities, I haven't haven't tested the PCB yet, but I finished making a small snap fit case to enclose it. Link below if you want to print your own. As mentioned on the Thingiverse page, I recommend using PETG, and please be very careful with you flex the MicroUSB...
It's about 2cm difference if you orient the case 90 deg, and shorter than the stock case. The bigger clearance concern would probably be how tall the case is when it's lying on it's side (~3cm). I can't say for certain how well it fits in LCD cabs because I don't own one (yet).
I recently went on the hunt for a replacement case for my TTX3 since my current case is missing the top cover, and the new mobo BIOS allows for better GPU compatibility. I ended up choosing the SAMA IM01 case, which is not much larger than a typical ITX case (like an NR200), but can still fit a...
2 bucks per shell is a really good price. Well under what I usually charge when I print something roughly this size, even when factoring in the friend discount.
It's long shot, but I hope there's a way to allow for Crack'n DJ to be played somehow with this PCB. I've played it on a cab once at CAX a few years ago and haven't been able to try it again since.
Looks interesting, PM sent!
If it hasn't been done already, I'll probably make a simple 3D printed case design for this if I'm able to get my hands on one.
