Can you summarise it?

"@9914ken and I came across a scam this morning. They posted an Aero City for sale for $900. They asked for F&F paypal only. Red Flag #1. The price was very favorable. Red Flag #2. I went as far as getting to my paypal screen and PayPal added a 5$ foreign transaction fee. Red Flag #3. I went to look at their profile. Private, Red Flag #4. So I reached out to other participants in the thread and they noticed some funny behavior too. I took their images and did a google search on it. An ad in EU Facebook came up from 2019 with the same pics and the same description.

They are probably using an old inactive account: @fescape78.

that's what you should do. Problem is, that if you cancel the payment and PayPal has already sent the funds to the scammer, they will show up in your account as a negative balance and PayPal won't give a shit. They will claim from you the payment to go through or you'll hav ea debt with them. And you know what they do with debts? The put them in packages and sell to debt collectors. It's best to take your time, ask for pictures, search those pictures with Google to make sure they are not just recycled from someone else's auction and PayPal as Friends only if the person has a very good reputation and you feel this is legit.

If the seller rushes you or if it's too cheap to be true, then probably isn't. Definitely avoid people with rush or threatening you that they'll leave a bad feedback because you took 10 hours to answer.
