Mitsurugi-w, I'm interested in getting the new rom board. Would you mind to do some tests to confirm the new board doesn't have the sound issues I mentioned? I'm also interested in getting the repro Analog I/O expansion board for Hot Rod & Rough Racer. How much does the board cost?
Last time I tested, the enemy character also didn't make sound when shot by bullet.
I don't remember if it's also the case when the player character dies and when the enemy characters got slammed by the door.
Based on the wiring diagram at link below, it's 26th pin on the 32 pins hirose connector. It should be red color.

I tested both the multi and my original rom board. Both sounded ok. Previously I tested with my supergun but this time I tested with my arcade cabinet. Arcade cabinet sounded better. It could be something wrong with my av cable. The conclusion, I think all games sounded ok except Astyanax...
You can probably use Vampliers to extract the screw out, it looks like the link below or use a small dremel power tool with the small cutting wheel to cut a line accross the head screw and then use flat screw driver to unsrew it.

I have HOTD2 but it's only using game cartridge (rom board), not gdrom disk so I only needed to connect my power supply to the naomi and usb cable from naomi to jvs io board.
