Looking for some advice as I am new to japanese arcade machines. What is the concensus on step down transformers for these 100V machines? Do they preserve the life of the PSU and crt or are they just unnecessary? I would like to get the most mileage out of my recent recap, I have a new PSU fan...

Looking for either of these pgm carts. Ideally Fluffy versions or at minimum tested and fully working Chinese carts. I know these are fairly common and work their way around alot, just hoping to buy stateside. Thanks! Dan
