Unfortunately no key was included (this was disclosed by the seller). Should I drill it out?

I recently purchased this Rastan upright and want to replace the coin door (which currently does not work) with the more traditional red coin slots. I'm new to upright repairs so any advice/guidance on where to start, including parts, would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there! New member here from South Dakota. Recently picked up an old Rastan cabinet conversion of some kind on eBay and will probably have plenty of questions cleaning it up and making the coin slots functional again. I’m new to uprights and learning as I go… I’m happy to have found this...
