"Error 25" means that your CF reader is not even recognized by your mother board. Please check : - if your CF reader is correctly powered (you can try to power it with a external ATX PSU) - if it is configured in "master" (and not "Slave")

You can remove the Button Cell on the upper board of the bottom part to prevent current while unmounting the boards. And, I do agree : watch the 3 big caps near the CPU and replace them if they look weird or bulked

This makes sense. Just ordered replacement caps for these 3 bulging guys. I won't boot up the Chihiro until they arrive at home and try to remove this golden/super cap in the meanwhile. And before everything : a big thank you to all of you for your help and for trying to revive this Chihiro
