FIXED: The forward kick button was set to fire on release which must have been set for factory debugging or something, when I swapped the wire over to fire on press the attract now boots without issue.

did some testing and I've learned that p1 forward kick button somehow controls how the attract mode plays. If I press the button And hold it down, the attract plays but when I release it, the video stops while the sound keeps playing. Any ideas?
