It would probably help if you stated what kind of machine the MS8 is in. For instance I have a hard plastic MS8-26 bezel from a US Virtua Fighter machine, but if it's going into say my Aero City which came stock with the same monitor, it's not going to fit it.

Good point, It's for a Sega Aero Table restoration.

So, the black surround that sits almost directly around the CRT and behind the smoked glass of the cab masking off the internal gubbins from view.
