i think you hate them and in fact i think you like to replace them on your boards even pcb is running with them , but i know , involve alot of work by switch them with other IC's

If I find 2+ of one type on the PCB that randomly failed, I replace them all. LIke one board that had Fujitsu 74LS244 chips. 4 were bad so I replaced the other three. None of the 74LS157 Fujitsus were bad so they stayed.
