6 Memory Simms for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike compatible ?

Hi!

I would like to know if I can use 6 128MB Memory Simms or if I have to use 2 64MB Simms on the 6 Simms ?

You cannot. The game expects that the SIMM slots have a module of the expected size, or they will refuse to write the game. For 3rd Strike and the Darksoft BIOS, you need x2 64MB in slots 1&2, and x4 128MB in slots 3-6.

You can verify which SIMMs you need and where they should be by using the chart on the AO wiki.

I'm curious - if the CPS3 mobo is fully populated with SIMMs, and I want to flash with SIMMs with a game that requires a smaller amount of SIMMs, would I need to remove the additional SIMMs that the game requires, or does it just ignore the SIMMs it doesn't need?
