What's new

Aero City - flooded, forgotten, found.

Nice job! I always appreciate the minty restores. I prefer a little patina on my cabs but minty restores are so beautiful to look at.
I like that you put on all the finishing touches like the decals for the headphones and volume control. I still gotta do that for my Aeros.

Absolutely beautiful work!
Cheers @PASTBLASTER

Thanks, yes agreed. I’ve got a good mix now of machines that were in need of a resto and ones that just need a tidy up and clean.

Here’s the control panel area tidied up and a before and after shot of the screws holding on the glass. I wished the Torx ones recessed properly into the washers - but they didn’t so I found some glossy PH ones instead. I also have four castors on the bottom now so I can roll it around.

Alright, finally some progress today after coming home to some long awaited items. The new castors and leg levellers arrived from DeJapan. Both bought from Rakuten. A big thanks to @erzane for guiding me in the right direction and knowing the part numbers for these items. These are identical to the originals.

Can you share the part number.

I’ve got the machine inside now out of the winter cold garage. I took a quick pic here but have had to move it into a bedroom because there’s no room left 😓

I previously had permission from my wife to block the lounge room door - as below, but not any more. I tried it on but it didn’t fly this time. 🤭
