Arcade PCB 3D Printed Cases!

Tonight is a case for Tekken Tag Tournament and a generic Namco System 12 case :)

Ignore the gold dots... My gold is really old and was stringy lol.

@Robertguy09 Any chance you’d be willing to remix that Gnet shell to fit more standard size printers? I would do it but my 3D modeling skill are lacking. No where as good as yours. I know it’s a lot to ask so I understand if you wouldn’t want to. I really love your cases but my poor X1C can’t handle it…😢

Yeah I'll give it a shot!
It'll be an interesting learning experience. Mainly figuring out the best joining method.
I can't say when I'll get to it though.

Just taking a quick look, I'll probably just split the case in half. Also, I will likely simplify the design. Make it more boxy, take out the slant in the back and eliminate some of the vent holes.

This should make it fit most printer.

I appreciate your efforts Robert. I was imagining something more like this. https://www.printables.com/model/145301-omvs-shell-split-version/files Look at how the top shell is joined. For the bottom please reference the split bottom shells models in the link below. https://www.printables.com/model/231117-open-mvs-advanced-printable-case/files . I understand if you don’t wanna waste anytime splitting your case designs. I just want more people like myself to be able to print and enjoy your amazing cases. Thanks for you hard work it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

I have printed one of these and was thinking about it also.

With that case, it can be split and then printed flat on the large face because at least one axis fits an average printers dimensions.

With the gnet case, both the X and Y is larger than 250mm. So to print it flat it would need to be split in 4.

I'll give it some though and see what I can make. 😁

Awesome! I look forward to whatever you can do.

I think I'm mostly done. I just need to test print it all. :D
I'm using my old Prusa mk3 for the test prints, so it will probably be a while till I'm done.

I might have gone overboard with screw mounts, but I prefer it be as strong as possible. One of my main goals with these cases is to have as little flex as possible.

Edit: I will also make a version with the everten audio holes
