Could be good for spares?

A long shot, however does anyone have an old Datapath X4 video wall controller they would like to sell?

@xb74 Thanks mate! Big fan of the Kanji buttons! Not sure this is the perfect cab for them but still like them a lot.

Mate those buttons look great on that cab. They turned out so well!
Thankyou again for the support, very much appreciated.

I’ve got some faulty PCBs to move on, some may be able to be fixed but I don’t have the time - others are parts boards.

Let me know if you’re interested in anything and I can send through photos

MVS 4 Slot (2)
MVS 4 Slot - Top board only (3)
CPS1 - Faulty A board (3)
System 16B - Motherboard (3)

I may have more, I’ll add it as I find it

[xb74]

A few items added to the CQB Arcade store - the Bit Bang Gaming Shuriken PCB (fine tune modding your JLF or Korean joystick).
Also secured a quantity of the always elusive Gamerfinger 30mm mechanical switch push buttons.

I had to help a mate with removals of a deceased estate , unbeknownst to me before I got there that his Granddad was a raaf electronics guy , crt repairs for 30yrs & moved into pc repairs 89- present .... had a good innings still fixing things at 93 ....

Anyone keen in a few nerd photo drops , and or expression of interest ?

The family have know idea about somethings ....

Interested in the cans of spray if there’s any vintage Tuxan, Krylon or Rusto’s

Nah, seriously looks like a goldmine of info and stuff there. Any tubes, rejuvenators or things useful to arcade peeps. I’d be keen on any late-early 80’s PC stuff and definitely any PVM, etc.

Documentation and books on repair like the one you posted too.

Dump some photos up!

Deceased estates of a relative are such an emotional roller coaster.

Good luck with it all. I'm sure there would be wide interest on here and also Aussie Arcade for equipment too.

Some MCA sticks on GT if anyone is interested.

Got someone in Adelaide with issues with issues getting his CPS-1 multi up and running.

Was wondering if anyone down there can help give it a look or has a spare CPS-1 stack/A-Board for him to test on / or even sell?

Let me know. I have people in Brissy, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne to call on, but Adelaide is slim pickings.

Cheers.

Tuxan should be made into a men's fragance

Trust me Somethings are forever ingrained in your soul... (M)aybe (C)an (K)ollector's ?

dump coming ..

@orio1 I have a can of the dark blue Tuxan here that I give a little spray every year or so, just to bring back the good old memories… there’s really nothing quite like it! Instant throw back to the late 80’s.

Bit rich for my blood ($3,900) but there is an Astro City up on Gumtree in Melbourne. Not sure how much a Twin Cobra PCB adds.

and everyone's blood

Mad props if it sells for that price though

The way this hobby has been going, it will probably sell.

Awesome shots of the monitor in action , please take my money ....

I love that washed out faded retro look upstairs, really increases value

Correct me if I wrong , but it’s news to me about the manufacture of NAC’s in Taiwan ??

At least the panel looks original and “ un-punched” ...

[djsheep]

@orio1 yeah, never heard of it either… not that it matters. Wouldn’t trade my NAC’s in for regular Astro’s ever.

[orio1]

I have both ,
and the manufacturing stickers on my NAC don’t indicate anything other than Japanese ...

seems mind boggling in ‘94 you’d import so many back to jpn as the monitors are def all Japanese made ...
peak Japanese manufacturing period aswell ...
