Hi all,

I have a CPS3 setup with regular SIMMs (with a Darksoft cart) that I'm looking to flash with using either a BlueSCSI or ZuluSCSI device - keen to hear if anyone has had any issues with either of these devices or if one is better than the other for CPS3 setups.

I've read that both are great, although keen to gte some info before going out and grabbing one.

Thanks!

We've had many reports from users who use CPS3 systems that BlueSCSI v2 works out of the box - infact a fairly big Arcade refurbish place uses them . Full disclosure I'm the BlueSCSI maintainer. If you're handy with a soldering iron you cant go wrong with a desktop kit. Honestly really you wont go wrong with either - just enjoy your CPS3!

Bluescsi works fine here. Got this going myself only a few weeks ago. I tried both 50pin desktop with cable version and the smaller 25pin variant with this adapter:

Both worked great but the small 25pin was very neat.

Copy the iso image to the sd card, name it appropriately so bluescsi knows it's 2048 sector cd (e.g. CD10_2048-CPS3.iso)

End result:
