Hursit does one of the best things in this hobby ! Awesome to see him in action ! Thank you very buddy for all what you've did until now ! :happy:
 
I'm just going through some things building out the cab and I have some questions. I'll probably have more later :)

  • What are the connector types? Where can I get them? What pins, crimper, wire gauge, etc. would I need to build new harnesses to connect to them?
  • How do I wire up the coin counter? Does it matter where each wire goes?
  • I'm using a 19" LCD monitor. I didn't look at this yet, so, sorry if it is obvious, but will I be able to mount it to the frame/what's the best way to set it up? Is there any way I can get a spot within the cab itself to plug it in? (It looks like there's a 2 prong receptacle, but I need a grounded 3 prong for this)
  • I'm using the GBS-8200. This requires +5v 2amps for power. Is it a good idea to tap into the arcade power supply for this? Should I try to jam another wire into the 5v/ground slots of the power supply or is there another way I can tap into it?
  • Will I be able to use all 4 buttons on a NEO GEO 1 slot (MVS 1B) out of the box? If not, any ideas?
  • We need to bring our own coin mech, right? Is this one standard/will it fit? https://na.suzohapp.com/products/coin_doors/42-3079-100
 
Hi all, Im going to need help as well. These are my first cabs. My first issue to figure out is how to mount the monitor as the holes do not align. I didn’t go with the WG and went with 19” VGA monitors instead.

Monitor bracket holes measure left to right is 16” and top to bottom is about 12.75”.
Cute holes are 17” and 13.25”.

Any suggestions on what to use? Thanks

*There are LE Connectors. I have find a supplier from China but i dont know is there another source
* I have showed the wires of Coin mech in my " How To Build " Video
* Im working on a LCD solution too but please remember, this cabinet produced only for WG K7000 19" CRT
* I dont know what is GBS-8200 Sorry. I beleive another members will reply this

* Yes you need to get your coin mech. It supports only Asahi Seiko AD-81P and P2

Which CRT you have, please share some info about it

That's the wrong size tube. Yours is 46, the frame is made for a 48.
